  Dr. Johnson is an excellent practitioner of acupuncture and oriental medicine. She treated me in Kona, HI for several years. We changed my diet and eliminated all symptoms of Chron's disease that I had had for years. My last colonoscopy showed that my colon is normal. I appreciated how she listened and explored for symptoms to be able to recommend changes in my diet, place acupuncture needles in the correct spots, and use herbs and other modalities to improve my health. She is a very knowledgeable and kind practitioner and I highly recommend her.

  Dr. April is AMAZING. Not only is she kind and has love for her profession, she is extremely knowledgeable. She knew about my MCAS, most providers know very little about that. I honestly used acupuncture as a last resort due to my fear of needles but she was amazing and made me so comfortable. I wish that I didn’t wait to long to get the treatment. She also has knowledge in Chinese medicine which is a huge plus for allergies along with other common conditions.

  April Johnston is an amazing practitioner! I first sought treatment in the spring of 2022 following an extreme vertigo event. I had suffered for many years with vertigo (decades!) and had tried everything to no avail. And my attacks come in waves, so several happen within a short time, then nothing for a year, then repeat repeat repeat. After a particularly extreme event, my new MD suggested that acupuncture could help and April was highly recommended, because she is not only an acupuncturist but board certified with a scientific background. She got me in right away and told me that in anticipation of my appointment she researched the latest in vertigo treatment options -- I really appreciated the seriousness she was already devoting to my care. That was over 4 years ago and I have seen April regularly since then (monthly more or less) and I have not had a single vertigo episode since then! I was devastated to learn she was moving to Washington State this summer and honestly I'm nervous my vertigo will return - I'm seriously considering flying over to Sequim a couple times a year for treatments to stay strong! Highly highly recommend April!!!

  I can’t recommend Dr. April Johnson enough! My baby was overdue, and I went to Dr. Johnson for acupuncture to help encourage labor. Almost immediately afterward I went into labor, and my baby arrived soon after! I truly feel like the treatment helped get things moving. Dr. Johnson is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and wonderful at what she does. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing acupuncturist and Oriental Medicine practitioner!
